An essential part of "Heimat" or "Zuhause" (following called HOME) is to remember. And when you remember, the details are getting less sharp, a little bit shiny and softened. How can you move these memories into photographs in a better way than using a pinhole!
Home is an emotional term. It contents for example these different places, where you have been playing as a child or as a young boy, where you had first romantic meetings or where you have been in holidays with your parents, where your friends were living, where your dad was working and where your grandparents are buried. And also it contents where you are today, where you are living, working, feeling good.
And there are these magic places, magic still today, where a shiver runs down your spine. Especially these places are predetermined to be taken with an old fashioned pinhole-camera. Some of these pictures are trying to describe them, trying to make you feel the magic too.
Nowadays I am living again in that town, where I have been born, where I grew up. I came back a couple of years ago, and I had to search for these certain places. With a Zero-Image-Pinhole-Camera and a tripod I walked through the city and the environment. The photographs may tell you what I found.
