I didn't seriously consider pinhole photography until the summer of 2007. It was at this time that I purchased my first pinhole camera and began to explore this aspect of photography. I have been intrigued by its complex simplicity and by that I mean the apparatus is very basic and yet the process of making fine-art images takes forethought and careful calculation - a challenge if you will that cannot rely solely upon an integrated circuit! It is also easier to move about with pinhole equipment versus more conventional photographic equipment. I also enjoy the quiet contemplation of calculation where one must rely upon photographic acumen and wits to compose and expose film to make a usable image.
